Start with information whose origin you understand

A calculation needs a birth date, location and a local birth time that is as reliable as possible. The historical time zone and any daylight saving time for that date and place must be considered. A present-day time zone setting is not automatically sufficient for an earlier birth. Uncertainty in the input remains part of the result. A chart with many decimal places may still be based on an estimated time.

Signs, houses and aspects have different roles

In a conventional astrological chart, celestial bodies are assigned to signs. Houses provide another division associated with the chosen house system and local orientation. Aspects are selected angular relationships between positions. Astrological traditions attach meanings to these features. You do not need to learn every term at once: begin with what is actually calculated, then examine which interpretive rules a source applies.

Check the method when two charts differ

Two calculation tools can use different settings, such as a different zodiac or house system. First check whether the date, clock time, location and time zone were entered identically. Then examine the method and how it handles unknown information. A difference does not mean that a chart has discovered another personality. It can result from different starting assumptions or an input error.

A chart remains a framework for interpretation

An exact calculation shows positions within a chosen method. It does not establish that an attached reading accurately describes your character or future. Leave room for your own experiences and questions the chart cannot answer. Make a deliberate choice about sharing birth information with an external service. AstroNivo general horoscopes do not require a birthplace or an exact birth time.
